BMW Goes Wireless with '3 Series' Mobile Campaign |

The goal of the campaign is to offer BMW video ads and other branded content downloads through the mobile phone channel and to prompt customers to schedule test drives of the new Series 3. BMW banner ads and text links appear on China Mobile's Monternet and other portals which customers visit on their mobile phones. When customers click on the banners, they are transferred to the BMW branded 3 Series mobile site. Within the site, a Visualizer tool enables campaign participants to customize their favorite Series 3 with preferred colors/features car right on their mobile phone. Customers can use the Click-to-Call feature to easily connect to the BMW call center for test drive appointment scheduling. Campaign results reported by 21 Communications have been beyond expectations, with over 500,000 unique visitors during the two month campaign, 50,000 branded downloads and over 2 million page views of the BMW mobile site. |
